I little further on down in this page I've posted the Nike World Cup spot. As most will attest to, it's pretty great. It's also running at or around 3 minutes which is pretty long, as far as commercial spots go. Now, here's the new spot from Adidas; it's also pretty long. While it doesn't speak directly to Adidas' stance in the soccer world, a world about to be eclipsed by the World Cup, it instead chooses to focus on their Star Wars Originals line (just look at these freaking shoes. These are sold in the toys-r-us for adults, right?). It's an interesting choice of promotion, particularly because the Star Wars line has been out for quite sometime.

Anyway, if you're getting ready to take part in the merriment that is the World Cup, which spot get's you more jazzed and ready to cheer. It's a pretty easy call as far as I'm concerned.

No Matter What You Do, It's Always Too Little And It's Always Too Late...

I just caught this video over at booooooom and it stirred up all of those old feelings which come to a head once you're involved in the chase. You know, THE CHASE, when you've got a lady or lad in your sights and you're just about to throw down a gauntlet of love lessons for them, whatever it takes to make them notice and appreciate you. Sometimes it works out but more often than not, you're left with wanting.
