Lew Dawg (?), 1 million screaming fans can't be wrong. I've heard it simply stated that Paranormal Activity is the new Blair Witch*. If you enjoyed the first BW then you'll probably dig this. Also, the couple of people who I regard as fans of good horror really enjoyed this movie, so I'll probably check it out when it hits the $3 theater. Last, if you happen to be looking for a little opportunity for coitus, there's nothing better than taking a date to a scary movie. It invokes the "life must go on" gene in females. Ohh, and make sure you feed her ice cream too.
*Turns out that the success of Paranormal Activity has sparked the possible development of Blair Witch 3. The original team from the first flick is looking at script work right now, as well as bringing back some of the original cast members. When this was first discussed several years ago the idea was to do BW3 as a prequel to BW1.
LH, I thought you might be a friend of mine, another initialed LH. Sorry to confuse you with another. Did you end up seeing this movie? Did you enjoy and would you recommend it? I'd love to hear your thoughts.
